    Hello,

Time for an update. First off, a big thank you to everyone that is part of this great community! As they say, when patience ends, endurance begins. We are approaching release of LWC 3.0 and we have exciting news for you including new features, interface screenshots and a site update, but first an announcement.

We've been getting a lot of mail. As a result, we have expanded our FAQ section to include information about Live Wallpaper Creator purchase, licensing, usage, troubleshooting and the upcoming version 3.0 release, so please read that. If you don't know anything about LWC, the FAQ page is the perfect place to start. If you've been following our progress, there is new information there that you might find interesting, so check it out either way!

Alright, as some of you may have noticed, we have decided to skip the release of 2.5 and merge it into 3.0 instead. This was a natural thing to do from a design and implementation point of view. Don't worry, this has not delayed the release, but made it better - much better.

We have added three new features to LWC 3.0 that you haven't seen yet. This will make Live Wallpaper animation and interaction incredibly more dynamic: Item groups can now have up to 7 states. For those that do not know, a state is basically a definition of 5 animation properties (speed, direction, scale, angle and opacity), interaction and transition behaviours for items belonging to a group. Each state now has its own set of images. This means that an item can change "face" from state to state. The user can customize how and when items change states. Each item can now change its state in two ways - on touch or when its timer expires. You will love creating these wallpapers.

There are so many combinations of options, behaviours, animations and interactions that it will take some time to fully explore the possibilities. For a complete feature list visit the forum: 3.0 Features. Bellow are two screenshots which offer a sneak peak at the new 3.0 interface...

Currently we are working on implementing support for various advertising SDKs so that you may include your favorite ads in wallpapers simply by clicking a button. We are also working on the Live Preview feature which basically simulates the live wallpaper on the canvas in real time. Users will be able to see how their wallpapers move and behave without having to use an emulator (which takes forever) or uploading to a device.

At this time, we don't have an exact release date for LWC 3.0. However, we are announcing that LWC 3.0 will be available to purchase at $120. All existing users, as we originally promised, will receive LWC 3.0 free of charge. This includes anyone who purchases Live Wallpaper Creator 2.1 before 3.0 is released (save $70!). We thank you for your continued support and patience. It means the world to us and keeps us working hard.

If you are new to the site, why not check out our demo? It's free! Lastly, we encourace everyone to participate on our forums: follow the latest updates on LWC, share you interests, ask questions, and just enjoy the community :)

Cant wait! This looks awesome! With the source code not being able to be exported I hope those good features some of us wrote tutorials for here are implemented! such as these cool ones in the settings menu: Own business name in header, share button, links for rating the livewallpaper etc! $120 is a very fair price for this software. I recovered my initial investment of 2.1 in under a month! Possibilities are now endless!

Anyone new that may join us:
This software is proven! I can vouch for its authenticity and the developers honesty. The software itself wont make you tons of money but if you can get the handle of it and start producing quality live wallpapers that user want you will recover any investment and start making money in no time! $120+$25=$145 will be your total investment counting in the Google play developer one time registration/set up fee. I started this as a hobby and quickly realized it could become more than that when I started to actually sell the live wallpapers I created! Also with all the up and coming app stores your not limited to Google play. You can use Samsung apps, Amazon, etc!

Ps: I signed up for Amazon yesterday, they are waiving that $99 hideous developer fee right now.

    Eraste,

You can best on it. All those promotional settings you've mentioned are already being implemented. Glad you like the software and thank you for the kind words. The quality and range of wallpapers that version 3 will produce will be incomparable to the current version. Stay tuned!

Hey Eraste, do you have apps on other markets beside Google Play? I have't tried other markets yet so I'm curious.

Just added amazon yesterday, their approval process is ridiculously slow however I think it will be a good venue, 3 apps there still under review for publishing. The only other "market" I use is synapsy: https://ssl.synapsy.net/mcms/api/. It is slow but then again I only have 4 or 5 apps there. 14 total downloads. For "exposure" I submit my apps to: http://filedir.com/ at the bottom of the home page there is a submit apps button under developers. They simply put up a description of your app and links to Google play ( free!) You dont even have to be the developer you can submit any app you want via the Google play link.

I have only been using 2.1 since Jan 2013. So still learning all the ins and outs of the different marketplaces etc. I do not use any markets that make you pay to add your apps. Thats crazy since they already get usually 30% of each sell. The only reason I jumped on Amazon was because they are currently waiving the $99 annual fee! I can see a one time registration/setup fee like Google play but a recurring fee? No! lol. I think one of the major ones: Appbrain charges you a "pay per install" fee for promoting your app but they do not directly host the apps they simply provide a link to Google play for download. ( filedir.com) does this same thing for free! Only difference is appbrain has an app that users can view from phone where filedir does not.

Here is a link to one of the newer apps I submitted to filedir, ( no hands on set up or anything, simply submit your google link to your app, this is the result free exposure!) I am using this app and a few others to see if my no ads campaign will pay off, You can see they mimic app stores layout and its free!

Guys this is the most beautiful news of 2013!!!!! XD ... I can not wait to try it!! ... $ 120 is a really good price considering the many features and considering that with version 2.1, I got back my investment in less than 2 days!

Wow what a reply. I will need to take some time to look into all this info. I guess signing up for Amazon would be a smart move never the less. I've checked out your Balloon wallpaper. I am still not used to the idea of seeing apps created by our software on the markets. It's a good feeling. Balloons looks very nice, good work. I'm very interested in existing and emerging app markets. It would be nice to create an independent live wallpaper market without limits or restrictions like Google Play and others. Perhaps with live wallpaper creator, we could do just that.

That would be pretty cool. Have our own "market". Anything is possible with great ideas and of course money lol.

Nope. The false positives are the ad SDKs that you put in your live wallpapers. Nothing we can do about that.

That looks amazing! Wow, I can't wait guys!

I totally agree with Eraste and Sebastian, $120 is a more than fair price if it even has half the features of the ones on the list! I made my $50 back for 2.1 in a little over a week, unless you count the $25 referral bonus from Startapp :D Then I made it back in like 4 days haha!

I'm so stoked, I've been modifying my 2.1 wallpapers in Eclipse but it takes me sooo long to achieve the effects that I want. With this I'll be able to pump them out so quickly and of much higher quality! Maybe I can even quit my job soon :X

This 50$ you get from Ad's from your wallpapers or from selling them ?

The majority of it is from ads. However I upload both a free version with ads and a paid version with no ads, in case somebody wants to buy it without ads. Most people would rather click "Clear" than pay for apps haha.

Edit: The $25 bonus from the Startapp referral I was talking about is for putting in ads. You have to use a referral link in order to get it though, I believe Vas posted it on the forums in a couple of places.
