I believe you should create two icons with these dimensions: 72x72 and 54x54, I'm not totally sure though since I don't know how v3.0 would handle that Edit: Hi again Steve, I found this regarding app icons, it may help you, is the Android Asset Studio, one of the things it has is a Launcher icon generator, it crops your image to the appropriate dimensions http://android-ui-utils.googlecode.com/hg/asset-studio/dist/icons-launcher.html
Thanks, NewKid I was able to find out by searching other threads the sizes that are currently used, but no solid feedback for what the options will be via LWPC 3, that question has so far gone unanswered. As have some other questions I've asked, so I still don't know if I can do what I'm hoping to in version 3, so I'm just going to have to see what comes when it's finally released, and hope the features I'm after are available to me. EDIT : - Because I'm trying to set up scenes to work with LWPC 3 before I have it, I'm worried that I may be wasting my time with certain types of artwork, because I don't know if the software will support the type of animation I am working towards, so I've created two very crude mockups of some potential LWPs I would like to ( already have artwork completed for ) create : - So, In this example, the blue backdrop is just that, a static backdrop. The red shapes are on a seperate layer ( ala groups in version 3 per my understanding ) and they animate downward like you would any usual particle system, now the yellow ball is a static image on a seperate layer ( group ) which is above the red particles and so obscures them, and I want to animate this within the yellow bounds ( the lines ), so that is animated up and down forever, will this be possible ? And onto the next crude example : - So, in this example, the blue gradient is the backdrop, I then have a static image of a sun, that I want to animate rotating only ( continues forevers ), the green 'hill' then obscures this on a seperate layer ( group ), has no animation and is just static. Will this be possible ? Thanks.
Thanks, Fando I wanted to make sure, so I wasn't wasting my time creating artwork that I couldn't use. RE: The drawings, I did say 'crude' examples ! Cheers
Hey that's great guys! I been waiting for this release and as soon it will launch ill buy it Good work dev.
I know they announced LWC3 a year before but I think we should be patient, and let them work whith no pressure
if this was some open source freeware. I couldn't agree with you more. But this is not, it's a paid product. I paid $70 for this. To put that in perspective, Windows 8 is in that range. Photoshop is in that range.2.6 has some nice features but not $70 features. There's tons of free where that will actually achieve more than this app. I paid $70 not on what 2.6 does but what 3.0 could do. Over a year ago. The word patient should no longer even be in the subject line. I think we've all used enough patience and it's time to produce. at this point I honestly could care less if 3.0 is "finished". just released the damn thing or give me back my money!
hello, I understand your anger because I too would like to use as soon as the features seen in version 3.0. But now the problem is different: we can not condemn these guys who I am sure are working hard in order to have a stable and useful software as much as possible ... What I will ask is their intervention in order to understand where we are that version 3.0, we are 30%, 90% ... I think it's fair to give an information of this type or a "due date". I therefore ask the producers of this magnificent software to give us some information about it ... thanks
I agree with Zathus it has been a while. I was pregnant when they started promoting 3.0 and now I've had my baby and she is 5 months old now. It's been a lonnnnnggg time!
Hey guys. In case anyone missed it, I posted a brief update a few weeks ago here http://www.livewallpapercreator.com/community/index.php?threads/update-on-lwc.489/ It's looking good. We are getting close to a demo app (or a few) followed by a closed beta. Nothing set in stone yet, as all focus is on finishing the engine.
