    Hey guys,

    So when I go to open lwc 2.6 my PC running windows 7 it immediately says it has stopped working and does not open it. I can click on the icon forever but it will not open. Please help me find a solution. I desperately want to use, and I am really excited for 2.6.

    Hey @stollo770, can you post a screenshot of the error and its details. We need more information on this.

    Here is (hopefully) a cleaner look at the code. I used the forums insert code function.

    Code (text):
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-16"?>
    -<WERReportMetadata>-<OSVersionInformation><WindowsNTVersion>6.1</WindowsNTVersion><Build>7601 Service Pack 1</Build><Product>(0x3): Windows 7 Home Premium</Product><Edition>HomePremium</Edition><BuildString>7601.18113.amd64fre.win7sp1_gdr.130318-1533</BuildString><Revision>1130</Revision><Flavor>Multiprocessor Free</Flavor><Architecture>X64</Architecture><LCID>1033</LCID></OSVersionInformation>-<ParentProcessInformation><ParentProcessId>3932</ParentProcessId><ParentProcessPath>C:\Windows\explorer.exe</ParentProcessPath><ParentProcessCmdLine>C:\Windows\Explorer.EXE</ParentProcessCmdLine></ParentProcessInformation>-<ProblemSignatures><EventType>CLR20r3</EventType><Parameter0>live wallpaper creator 2.6.exe</Parameter0><Parameter1>2.6.0.0</Parameter1><Parameter2>519ebc3b</Parameter2><Parameter3>System.Drawing</Parameter3><Parameter4>2.0.0.0</Parameter4><Parameter5>506c194d</Parameter5><Parameter6>7b0</Parameter6><Parameter7>70</Parameter7><Parameter8>System.ArgumentException</Parameter8></ProblemSignatures>-<DynamicSignatures><Parameter1>6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3</Parameter1><Parameter2>1033</Parameter2></DynamicSignatures>-<SystemInformation><MID>8C5490F6-F3DF-45B0-965B-4E520B2668C8</MID><MarkerFile>103C_HP_cNB_Pavilion dm4 Notebook PC_Y5335KV_0U_QCNU0303ZD9_EFU1006098BIS_4A_I1469_SHP_V58.1D_F.08_T100524_WU3-0_L409_M3894_J500_7Intel_8652_92.27_#100730_N10EC8168_(WD470AV)_XMOBILE_CN10_Z</MarkerFile><SystemManufacturer>Hewlett-Packard</SystemManufacturer><SystemProductName>HP Pavilion dm4 Notebook PC</SystemProductName><BIOSVersion>F.08</BIOSVersion></SystemInformation></WERReportMetadata>

    Hhm, strange.

    @stollo770 Can you please check that you have .NET Framework 3.5 or higher is installed?
    Open your Installed Programs list using control panel and look for an entry that says something like: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5
    Take a screenshot of what you see please.

    If it helps guys I am running an HP Dm5 installed with Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. I have an Intel Core i5 processor which cycles at 2.27 GHZ. My system also has 4gb of RAM memory and a 500gb hard drive (with loads of free space). So my system's ability to run 2.6 is not a question.

    @stollo770

    Hey, can you send me the two files that the error message is referencing.
    The second file, which you cannot open contains the memory dump and can be analysed with a special tool, hopefully shedding some light on the issue.

    These are the two files:
    C:\Users\SamT\AppData\Local\Temp\WERAA01.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml
    C:\Users\SamT\AppData\Local\Temp\WERC197.tmp.mdmp

    To discard incompatibility issues with Windows 7, I want to comment that I'm also running LWC 2.6 on Windows 7 Home Premium 64bits with no issues.
